On the blog this week we will be analyzing yet another one of our versatile products,
Opti-Seal.
Looking for a paint sealant and protector that is extremely easy to apply?? Well then this product is for you! One of the reasons Opti-Seal is incredibly popular is because the application process is so easy. There are 3 steps in the process: "Spray, Wipe, Walk." --say it with us! "Spray, Wipe, Walk!". Good, now those are some instructions that anyone can remember. Seriously, that is all it takes to achieve that slick look you're after. The polymers begin cross-linking as soon as it hits the paint and leaves no residue to buff off. However, this product is not a miracle shine worker.
It IS a miracle paint protector, though. But, it can also go on glass surfaces! This past week we applied Opti-Seal to our front and back windshields and the results were quite impressive. Driving through a decently bad rain storm (MPH was between 50-70) was a breeze for my new Opti-Sealed windshield. I never had to use my wipers, which was a first for me. Lets face it, it is annoying to find the right speed to set your wipers on and sometimes your car doesn't even offer the "in between" speed your really wanting. Opti-Seal eliminates that issue!
What Opti-Seal is going to do for your vehicle is amazing. Rain can literally do the washing for you, all while your doing other things you love. That is exactly what Opti-Seal can give you; a little extra time to spend with family or playing a round of golf with your buddies because rain is doing the work for you. If you still wanted to wash your vehicle then it will ensure that your wash time is cut short. Apply OS and see how easy the dirt sheds during washes.
<<Check out that beading!>>
A major compliment this product gets is it is very cost efficient and lasts about 2-3 months. Even on a vehicle that is parked outside, the life of the product remains the same. In our 8oz bottle (24.99) you can Opti-Seal 56 cars! For professional detailers, there is a huge profit margin for you and a great selling point at a small cost. Make Opti-Seal something that you put on every car and watch your first-time client become a repeat customer.
TIPS FOR OPTI-SEAL
Tip #1:: Wash with ONR Wash and Wax, apply Opti-Seal, then wax OR apply a second coat of Opti-Seal. If you are looking for the quicker option; the two layers of OS is for you.
Tip #2:: LESS IS MORE! Opti-Seal is meant to be applied THIN. You are using enough product if the sponge is gliding nicely over the vehicle, when it starts to drag and have resistance, then respray. If you see streaking of any kind you are applying it too heavily. If this occurs, just wipe excess off with a clean microfiber.
Tip #3:: Spray your applicator pad with a little product and then apply spray to the vehicle. (Thanks Steve--see video)
Tip #4:: Cure time for Opti-Seal is safely, about one hour in all weather situations.
Tip #5:: Thoroughly wash out the applicator sponge after use. This prevents any dried build up to occur and keeps the sponge in perfect condition for the next application.
Tip #6:: Create a window cleaner with Opti-Seal and ONR mix! 1oz:32oz; Seal:ONR. Shake the bottle before using. This makes the two products even more cost efficient for you.--Thank you Aznew Detailing!
NEW Tip #7:: You can use Opti-Seal as a drying aid. First apply ONR/WW, then before it dries spritz some Opti-Seal on, lastly buff with your dry microfiber. Notice that the water that was beaded before, now is sliding right off the car. Quite an amazing combo and is incredibly time conserving for you because your cleaning, sealing, and drying at the same time!!!
